Workshops Workshops, that relate to a variety of the 4-H Project Areas, are put on by 4-H County Staff and Volunteers. All members are welcome to attend these. Some examples of workshops that have been done include dog training, baking, stepping stones, jewelry making, posters and painting.
Youth-in-Action Youth in 4-H are able to gain critical life skills, such as, learning food safety and cooking, understanding the proper way to care for clothes, and properly giving a presentation. Also, being able to compare four like items and establishing which one is the best, which is judging. These are all fun, interactive activities to participate in!
Mid Dakota Fair Mid Dakota Fair is a fun opportunity for all Tripp County 4-H members to exhibit what they have been doing in their project area over the past year. Members may show animals like cattle, dogs and rabbits, or bring static exhibits that include things like photography, visual arts, baking, houseplants, vegetables, LEGO creations, written stories, and more!
